Emerging from Melbourne's vibrant café culture, this story begins in St Kilda in 1997 when Greg, Anna, along with their young sons, crafted a delectable drinking chocolate for their local café. This early success paved the way for a diverse array of drinking chocolates, chai teas, frappes, and syrups, all of which have garnered devoted fans in cafés, restaurants, and homes across Australia and beyond.

Today, Arkadia has evolved into a beverage powerhouse, but their original vision still fuels the Arkadia family. With both Foodservice and Retail divisions, the brand now has a presence in 20+ countries around the world. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and commitment to continuous innovation ensure that Arkadia remains at the forefront of modern café culture, earning a reputation synonymous with relaxed indulgence.

Recognising the need for eye-catching packaging in café and bar settings, Arkadia came to us to refresh their Foodservice products with designs that truly stand out on shelves—including a custom bottle design for their syrups.

Arkadia’s aim was to expand their flavoured syrups and enter the high-end bar market. A crucial aspect of this project was developing a sophisticated and distinctive bottle design that set them apart from established competitors. This was achieved by creating a unique bottle shape with embossed branding details.

The new brand-led design enhances brand visibility while showcasing their indulgent flavour range, using the brand mark as a backdrop for vibrant colours and patterns. Additionally, the cohesive branding system unifies and differentiates the Arkadia portfolio across two tiers, 11 sub-ranges, and 120 SKUs.

Arkadia’s brand direction is centred on memorable moments—on crafting premium beverages that elevate enjoyment and indulgence in bars and cafés—with products designed to be catalysts for unforgettable times shared with friends and family; for rekindling the joy of connection through stories, laughter, and good times over drinks.
